JANUARY DEADLINES
1-JanMarine Corps Scholarship Foundation - The Marines is offering a scholarship to students who are children of someone in the Marines.  In order to qualify, the total family household for 2011 must be less than $80,000 a year.Click Here

15-JanThe Geisinger Scholarship - This scholarship is for students attending the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor and majoring in engineering.

16-JanGates Millennium Scholars Program - This program is for African-American, American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian Pacific Islander American, or Hispanic-American, who plan to enroll to an accredited college/university as a full-time, student pays full tuition for students obtaining a bachelors, masters and/or a professional degree.  Students must have 3.3 GPA, extensive community service, leadership experience, and meet the federal Pell grant eligibility criteria.  Eligible students nominator and the recommender.Click Here
21-JanGreenhouse Scholarship  - Provides $20,000 scholarship, mentorship, Summer symposium, internship, peer support networking and more for a graduating senior GPA 3.5 and up U.S. citizen planning to attend 4yr university. Annual house hold income cannot exceed $70,000 a year.Click Here
25-JanBank of America Student Leadership Program -  Provides 8 week paid internship  & a week long summit in Washington D.C. July 15-20, 2012 . The Bank of America Charitable Foundation’s Student Leaders Program is offering a summer 2013 eight week paid internship for juniors and seniorsClick Here

1-FebSIU First Scholars  -  Must be a first time applicant to SIUC and parents only have a high school education.Click Here
6-FebParamount Foundation - The paramount Tall Club of Chicago offers a $750 scholarship to a high school senior who meet the height requirement of 5’10” for females and 6’2” for males.   Click Here
9-FebK.F.C. Colonel’s Scholars Program - This is a $5,000 a year scholarship for seniors who plan to attend a public, in-state college or university.  Applicants must have a minimum 2.75 GPA and be a U.S. citizen.  Click Here
15-FebBest Buy Scholarship - Scholarships are awarded to seniors who plan to attend a college, university or vocational school in the Fall.  Scholarship recipients are selected based on volunteerism efforts and academic achievements.  Best Buy partners with Scholarship America to handle the administration and selection of recipients.Click Here

15-FebIllinois PTA/Lillian E. Glover Scholarship Program  - Two scholarships are awarded in each of the PTA’s 19 districts, 1st place is $1,000 and 2nd place is $500.  Applicants must be in the top 25% of their class, be a graduating senior preparing to enter an Education or Education-related degree program requiring certification.  Click Here
15-FebThe Jackie Robinson Foundation -  This scholarship is for minority seniors attending  an accredited four-year institution.  Students must have a minimum 22 on the ACT,  have a strong scholarship potential, community service, and financial need.

28-FebThe Fred S. Bailey Scholarship Program  - This scholarship is for students enrolled at UIUC through the 2012-2013 term who have shown a commitment to service, leadership, and academics. This is a $3,000 renewable scholarship.Click Here

1-MarHispanic Heritage Youth Awards - The Hispanic Heritage Youth Awards offer educational grants to Hispanic/Latino seniors who plan to attend a college/university in the Fall 2010.  The grants range in value from $1,000 to $3,000.  Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident, and have a minimum 3.0 GPA.  Click Here

15-MarWal-Mart Dependent Scholarship  -  The Walmart Dependent Scholarship is a $13,000 scholarship paid over four years.  Applicants must be dependents of a Walmart or Sam’s Club associate have at least a 2.0 GPA, and financial need.  Click Here
