In January, Thornton Township High School District 205 proudly joined South Suburban College and Thornton Township in hosting a powerful and inspiring Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Tribute, a community tradition honoring the legacy, message, and enduring impact of Dr. King.

The Institute Day featured nationally recognized educational consultant and author Dr. Anthony Muhammad, who led engaging sessions centered on transforming school culture and strengthening professional learning communities (PLCs).

Thornton Township High School District 205 turned up the heat in the kitchen as the Student Board of Education Cafeteria Committee partnered with OrganicLife to host the districtwide Battle of the Pizza Challenge.

The 3E Expo is an annual District 205 initiative designed to ensure that every graduating senior is prepared to be enrolled in college, enlisted in the military, or employed in a meaningful career. The event connects students directly with representatives from colleges and universities, trade schools, employers, and military branches, allowing them to explore opportunities and make informed decisions about their futures.
